Based in Oakland and a proud UC Berkeley Alumni, Jose Luis brings a multidisciplinary background rooted in movement-building, wellness, and real estate.
They are a California-licensed Realtor with the Guy Blume Group in Alameda, supporting residential clients across the Bay Area. Jose Luis has experience in cooperative administration, nonprofit partnerships, and commercial real estate. Their background also includes over five years in the wellness field—as a yoga instructor, meditation facilitator, and wellness director at UC Berkeley—developing and leading community-centered retreats, programs, and events.
Jose Luis is most experienced in facilitation, wellness, and program development, and is growing their offerings in retreat design and strategic planning for mission-driven organizations.
Originally from San Diego, Jose Luis has received special recognition from Assemblymember Lorena Gonzalez Fletcher and Congressman Mike Levin for their civic engagement. Outside of work, they enjoy dancing, practicing breathwork, and cultivating joy through storytelling and community care.
