Facilitation and Communications
Oliver is a member-owner of Radiate-SF providing services in facilitation, language support, and community organizing efforts. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Oliver holds a bachelor’s degree from San Francisco State University in Communication Studies.
Having previously worked with university departments and non-profit organizations, his focus is building and implementing diverse programming to help expand their reach and impact alike. From workshops to community needs assessments, Oliver grounds his practice in the people he collaborates with.
Delivering keynotes, completing numerous fellowship programs, and receiving awards for his work in community advocacy, Oliver is recognized for his talent in Public Speaking, Internship Coordination, and Facilitation. Through Radiate-SF, he hopes to grow his skills in Grant Writing and Interpretation.
Born in Guanajuato, Mexico, Oliver’s immigration journey brought him to the Bay Area as a kid where he grew up surrounded by people with stories just like his own. Living in South San Francisco since childhood, he loves the Bay Area for the unique kind of community building it offers. Outside of the cooperative, he juggles a number of hobbies including collage making, hiking, and special effects makeup!
